WVU Potomac State College kicked off its 119th fall semester a bit more normal
than the previous year when the COVID-19 pandemic required strict precautionary

During 首页coming 2021, the campus plans to celebrate the life of a beloved former professor, cheer on the women’s and men’s soccer teams and honor outstanding alumni.
Honorees this year include Kenneth Haines, Class of 1950, PSC professor emeritus
of modern languages, to be awarded the Alumni Achievement award posthumously; A.
杰根, Mineral County Health Department Administrator, will receive the Distinguished
Service award; and Logan DelSignore, Class of 2012, a local realtor and entrepreneur
will receive the Young Alumni Achievement award.

The Dulin Memorial Scholarship was created by George and Joann Oss in July 2016.
The couple established the scholarship in memory of George’s maternal grandmother,

their mother when he was just four years old. The scholarship is intended to recognize
Cora Dulin’s interest in education, especially for those in need of financial aid.
I am honored to announce that due to a generous bequest from alumnus, John Philip
Spoerl (Class of ‘63), an irrevocable trust has recently been established allowing
the Alumni Association to create the John Philip Spoerl Scholarship, to be awarded
to select Business 政府 students at WVU Potomac State College.
